A few weeks ago we produced an infographic based on how to build trust online. The infographic proved very popular so if you didn’t get chance to see it, here it is in SlideShare form for your viewing pleasure.

Building trust online is a bit difficult unless you are already a household name. Features such as high quality product images, real customer reviews and clear contact information are great trust building tools. For example, 63% of consumers are more likely to purchase from a site which displays customer reviews.

41% of consumers say that they are more likely to trust a brand if live chat is available. It isn’t just a case of sticking live chat on your site though, live chat needs to be online when your customers are with web chat agents available for your customers to talk to. Your web chat agents also need to provide honest and helpful advice so that customers know that you are a brand and company that they can trust.
